The Shoot-A-Thon

Each year, KING Hoops student-athletes, coaches, community members, and supporters participate in our Shoot-A-Thon, one of our signature fundraising events that helps make our programs accessible to every participant and family.
Participants collect pledges from family, friends, and supporters based on the number of shots they make, with all proceeds being raised supporting our scholarship fund, academic and life skills programming, helping our participants to go to college and beyond!
More than just a fundraiser or competition, the Shoot-A-Thon unites our community around one mission of helping our student athletes succeed on and off the court.

March Madness
Watch Party
Recap
Each March, the KING Hoops community comes together for our annual March Madness Watch Party, an evening of basketball, food, and connection in support of our mission. Parents, alumni, coaches, supporters, and friends gather to celebrate the program while raising critical funds that help provide scholarships, expand programming, and create more opportunities for our young people across New York City.
In addition to our watch party, every year, our community participants in the KING Hoops Bracket Challenge! All proceeds from the Bracket Challenge will also directly benefit our KING Hoops Scholarship Fund, helping our kids on their journeys both on and off the court.
